A Glimpse of Sunset-Kep Cambodia
Do you feel somehow relaxed when you see the sun going down? People say that you have a different feeling in different places where you see the sunset. But for me, my mind freezes, my head goes blank, my soul dives deep into that wonderful bright light wherever I see it. It’s the most truly relaxing feeling I have ever had.
Kep province is the sea area in southern Cambodia. It is about three and a half hours by van from Phnom Penh. I always use this company (Kimseng Express) and book the ticket through Bookmebus for my transportation back and forth.
Most of the evening I ride my bike along the beach to a place where I can put all the heavy thoughts and things out of my mind and completely surrender to the sun.
The mountain is about to swallow the sun, but the orange ray tries to reflect the waves as they struggle to crash on the beach. The sound of the crashing wave rhythmizes in my head. I take a deep breath and absorb this energy.
